Push notifications

Jindo can send notifications to help your household stay coordinated. Some alerts are delivered through Apple’s Push Notification service (remote notifications initiated from our servers); others are scheduled on your device (such as chore due times and a daily meal summary at 7:00 a.m. local time). We use your notification category preferences and timezone to decide what to send. We do not use notifications for advertising. You control categories in the App and can disable notifications entirely in iOS Settings.

Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may delete your account in the App’s settings, which removes your personal data subject to certain legal exceptions and backup retention periods.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we work to apply practices appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we process.

Children

The Services are intended for use by adults managing a household. Family members (including children) may appear in household data (such as assigned chores or calendar events) as added by account holders. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
